Minglewood Development is the culmination of Skip Kelleher's 30 years of construction industry experience combined with his passion for restoring the charm and character of period homes while incorporating the needs of conventional living.
Skip began his career in construction working with his brothers as a house painter and handyman to fund his college education. After graduating from St. Lawrence University with a degree in Economics, Skip continued his education in real estate at New York University, where he earned a Diploma in Construction Management while apprenticing as a carpenter during the day.
During the next three decades, Skip's career in real estate development included roles of progressive responsibility in construction management, project management, and business unit leadership with national residential development companies including K. Hovnanian Homes and Toll Brothers.
While working for these national homebuilders, Skip was also pursuing his passion by purchasing and renovating period homes. Over time, as demand grew for his unusual ability to transform antique buildings into beautiful, functional living spaces that maintain the feeling and aesthetic of the period, Skip decided to launch Minglewood Development and focus exclusively on this fulfilling work.
